US Association of Physicians calls for Moratorium on GMO Foods

The American Academy of Environmental Medicine (AAEM) has just issued a call for an immediate moratorium on Genetically Manipulated (GMO) Foods.

In a just-released position paper on GMO foods, the AAEM states that ‘GM foods pose a serious health risk’ and calls for a moratorium on GMO foods. Citing several animal studies, the AAEM concludes ‘there is more than a casual association between GMO foods and adverse health effects’ and that ‘GM foods pose a serious health risk in the areas of toxicology, allergy and immune function, reproductive health, and metabolic, physiologic and genetic health.’ The report is a devastating blow to the multibillion dollar international agribusiness industry, most especially to Monsanto Corporation, the world’s leading purveyor of GMO seeds and related herbicides.

In a press release dated May 19, the American Academy of Environmental Medicine, which describes itself as ‘an international association of physicians and other professionals dedicated to addressing the clinical aspects of environmental health,’ called immediately for the following emergency measures to be taken regarding human consumption of GMO foods:

* A moratorium on GMO food; implementation of immediate long term safety testing and labelling of GMO food.
* Physicians to educate their patients, the medical community and the public to avoid GMO foods.
* Physicians to consider the role of GMO foods in their patients' disease processes.
* More independent long term scientific studies to begin gathering data to investigate the role of GMO foods on human health.

For some time I have known that a man made pandemic would be started by those who are trying to rule the world. Too many preparation programs and propaganda around the avian flu (H5N1) was around to prepare the people and government. Programs included preparation and testing of biohazard quarantine and control procedures. Equipment was shipped to strategic locations around the country in Australia and overseas. The biggest question I had however was how would this pandemic start. Well now we know how.

Vaccine manufacturer Baxter sent a vaccine to at least 18 countries that contained live H5N1 avian flu virus. This was only discovered due to a contractor testing lab testing the vaccine on ferrets. In the normal process if the vaccine has not been irradiated properly the ferrets would become ill. For this test however the ferrets died. Testing the vaccine they found the live H5N1 strain in the vaccine mix.

Recently I was at the doctors with my girlfriend for her regular checkup. The doctor enquired if she wanted to be given the Gardasil vaccine to protect her against cervical cancer. She did not know (as she has had bad reactions to drugs in the past) so I said we would look into it and get back to her. So I did look into information about the vaccine and what I found was rather shocking. In fact, in my opinion after going through the information, there is very little point to getting the vaccine.

Firstly this vaccine is being marketted as the preventative against cervical cancer. For the Australian Government it is treated as an Immunisation vaccine. Now with the marketing, it would seem to be a good thing. Take the vaccine and you will be immune to cervical cancer. That is the way the marketting comes across. However the facts are far from this.
